"A Commitment to Inform"

 Since Lisa’s death, I have made a commitment to stop Dating Violence and to inform students, parents and teachers about the different forms of abuse that take place, signs to look for, and what to do if it is happening to you or someone you know. 

 Since 1996, I have had the opportunity to speak to more than 200,000 students and teachers and visited over 200 Colleges and High Schools throughout the United States.  In September of 2000, I was given the opportunity to speak at the University of Iowa, the school where my daughter, Lisa would have attended 3 weeks after the date of her death. 

Channel 2, WBBM TV in Chicago, highlighted by career as “Someone You Should Know.”  I have also appeared on the Montel Williams Show in New York, and on the Oprah Winfrey Show as a “father who kept his daughter’s spirit alive.”
